How to pronounce my name:
I work mainly in analytic epistemology. My dissertation is on the epistemology of reflection. In my dissertation, I argue that (i) reflection fails to supply a genuine agential constraint on epistemic normativity, (ii) recent studies in empirical psychology fail to impugn the overall reliability of reflection, and (iii) the value of reflection derives, in part, due to its role in the acquisition of wisdom.
I have several strong side-interests in philosophy. In no particular order: late Wittgenstein, political philosophy, Indian philosophy, and the philosophy of religion.
Aside from research, I thoroughly enjoy teaching philosophy. I like to be eclectic in my approach to teaching philosophy: I routinely assign readings from the Continental and Indic philosophical traditions.
