Oxford University Press has just published a new book on Epistemology and the Philosophy of Mind co-edited by Professor Declan Smithies. The book is entitled Introspection and Consciousness, and offers "fourteen new essays and one reprinted essay on the relationship between introspection, self-knowledge and consciousness." One year ago, Oxford published Attention: Philosophical and Psychological Essays, also co-edited by Declan. That book, which also comprised fourteen new essays, explored "attention through the lenses of phenomenology, neuroscience, cognitive psychology, and philosophy of mind."
