Dubrovnik Conference

The annual Dubrovnik Analytic Philosophy Conference is organized by the philosophy departments at Ohio State, the University of Maribor, and the Univeristy of Rijeka.  This year, it is co-sponsored by the Linguistics Department at Ohio State.  It will take place June 11-15, and the theme is contextualism and relativism in the philosophy of language.  The list of speakers includes world renowned philosophers and linguists who specialize in these and related areas:  Chris Barker, Berit Brogaard, Herman Cappelen, Janice Dowell, Andy Egan, Iris Einheuser, Michael Glanzberg, Chris Kennedy, Max Kölbel, Peter Lasersohn, Diana Raffman, Brian Weatherson, in addition to several prominent Central European philosophers.  The participants from OSU are Craige Roberts,  Kevin Scharp, Stewart Shapiro, and William Taschek.  There will also be a session devoted to papers from seven graduate students, including our own Eric Snyder and Joe Reich.
