I’m primarily interested in questions about the mind. My current research focuses on how we identify a perceptual object. I draw on psychological theories of perception, attention, and action to explain the relevant mechanisms. More broadly, I’m interested in the relationship between philosophy and the empirical sciences, especially how empirical research can inform philosophy.
