Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

How to pronounce my name:

Jason DeWitt

I'm currently working on a dissertation that develops a pragmatist realism in the metaphysics of science. It is mostly engaged with contemporary views on causation, modality, and global expressivism. I have fairly wide-ranging philosophical interests, but I especially enjoy talking and thinking about philosophy of science, metaphysics, and the history of 19th and 20th century philosophy (pragmatist, analytic, and continental).

I have a paper in Synthese on deflationism about epistemic justification: https://philpapers.org/rec/DEWDDA-2.
