Congratulations to Professor Lisa Shabel, who has been named a recipient of the 2022-2023 Rodica C. Botoman Award!  This award honors a member of the Humanities faculty who best exemplifies excellence as a teacher of undergraduates.  The selection committee also considers mentoring/advising and the use of innovative teaching strategies.  The award carries with it a $5000 stipend.  This is not the first major teaching award for Professor Shabel, who serves as our Director of Undergraduate Studies; she was also a recipient of the Ronald and Deborah Ratner Distinguished Teaching Award in 2015.
