Professor Don Hubin announces his retirement

Don Hubin has announced his retirement, effective May 31, 2013. Don has been Chair of the Philosophy Department since 2006, and has served the University as a teacher, scholar and service leader since his appointment in 1977. One of the Department's most popular teachers, Don's students regularly praise his energy and enthusiasm in the classroom. He has published extensively in ethics, philosophy of law, and decision theory, and since 2005 has served as an Associate Editor of Ethics. In the Fall of 2013, Don will rejoin the University as the Director of OSU's Center for Ethics and Human Values, which he has been working to develop since 2009. We wish Don much happiness and success in his new endeavors!
