The Educational Testing Service (ETS) recently published figures for performance in the Graduate Record Exam (GRE) by subject area. Philosophy students scored higher than any other Arts & Humanities student in all three areas of the test: Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Analytical Writing. They also scored higher than students in any other area in two out of three categories: Verbal Reasoning and Analytical Writing. See the data here:https://www.ets.org/s/gre/pdf/gre_guide_table4.pdf
