Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Four department members participated in the conference "Truth Pluralism and Logical Pluralism" this past weekend. It was hosted at the University of Connecticut in Storrs. Neil Tennant presented a paper titled "Truthmaking and Truth-Transmission: How to Determine the Right Logic". Teresa Kouri presented "Connective Meanings in Beall and Restall’s Logical Pluralism" and Kevin Scharp gave his paper called "Logical and Alethic Pluralism". Finally, Stewart Shapiro participated in a panel discussion on pluralism in general, with Roy Cook (a former Ohio State PhD student, now at Minnesota) and Crispin Wright (NYU/Stirling).The conference program is here.
