Lavender McKittrick-Sweitzer has accepted an Assistant Professor position at Butler University.

Lavender McKittrick-Sweitzer has accepted a tenure track Assistant Professor position at Butler University specializing in contemporary social and political philosophy and ethics. Lavender received their Ph.D. from our department in 2021 under the direction of Piers Turner. They will begin their tenure in August and coordinating the Ethics minor program. Lavender anticipates being an Affiliated Faculty member of the interdisciplinary Race, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program with both their teaching and research.
