The Israel Science Foundation, The Edelstein Center for the History and Philosophy of Science, Technology and Medicine, and The Hebrew University of Jerusalem sponsored “Content, Construction and Convention – A Workshop on the Intersection of Language, Mathematics and Logic in Honor of Stewart Shapiro.” The workshop brought together philosophers of language, logic, and mathematics to discuss issues relating to areas in which Professor Shapiro has made important contributions. This was a three-day conference held in June, on The Mt. Scopus Campus of the Hebrew University.
