UH
April 24, 2015
All Day
347 University Hall

Abstract: Standard arguments from the fine-tuning of the universe to the existence of a designer, or many universes, invoke a Bayesian framework for updating on evidence. This talk addresses several thorny issues at the foundations of confirmation theory that attend such arguments.

David Manley is from the University of Michigan.
