Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. However, all programs and activities are being administered in compliance with federal and state law.

How to pronounce my name:

My research concerns questions at the intersection of philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, bioethics, and race. I primarily work on pain communications, particularly in the context of racial and gender disparities in pain management. I am currently doing research as a neuroethics fellow at Cleveland Clinic. Prior to coming to OSU, I was an inaugural Sadler Scholar at the Hastings Center and a visiting scholar with the John L. Lynch, MD Center for Ethics Program for Neuroethics and Clinical Consciousness.
