The Philosophy Department is pleased to welcome David Goldman and Nate Sharadin, who will be joining us in 2014-15 as Visiting Assistant Professors.

David received his PhD from the University of California at Los Angeles in 2012 and he works in ethics, philosophy of action and political philosophy. His current research focuses on moral responsibility, free will, and the metaphysics and justification of punishment. Nate received his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2014 and he works in ethics and epistemology. His current research focuses on the nature of normative reasons in both practical and theoretical domains.
