Graduate Students at the OPA and APAs

The Ohio Philosophical Association is meeting this weekend at Kenyon College. Seven current graduates and one recent graduate are participating in the program. Nathan Smith is giving a talk entitled "Sophisticated Consequentialism and Psychological Coherence" and Jeremy Weiss is giving a talk entitled "Impure Intentionalism about Affective Experience. Wes Cray, Christa Johnson, Andrew Kissel, Teresa Kouri, and Erik Wedin are commenting; and Brian McLean and Hope Sample are chairing. At the recent Central APA meeting in Chicago, Andrew Kissel and Daniel Pearlberg both delivered comments. And Daniel Pearlberg, Lindsay Rettler, and Eric Snyder are delivering papers at the Pacific APA meeting in San Diego later this month. Daniel's paper is entitled "Brains Without Parts: Reframing the Debate Between Dynamicists and Mechanists"; Lindsay's is "Reason-Responsiveness & Voluntary Influence"; and Eric's is "Different Types of Names."
It is great to see our graduate students so professionally active!
